Early in the morning the tour driver will pick you up from either your hotel or any chosen spot in the capital/ NCR. You will be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station where you can board Shatabdi Express train for Agra.

The train will leave for Agra by 6:10 AM. Breakfast will be served on board.

Once you reach Agra the tour representative will meet you at Agra Cantt railway station. It takes around 2 hrs to reach Agra and so you will be there by 8:10AM. In Agra a Govt approved tour guide will take you for Taj Mahal viewing. This wonderful monument was made by 5th Mughal ruler Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal is located on banks of River Yamuna and it is one of the most visited monuments in the country.

After seeing Taj Mahal you will proceed to see another brilliant monument- Agra Fort. This red sandstone fort is spread across an area of 94 acres. Agra Fort is also called as the Sister Monument of Taj. For an extremely long time, Agra Fort was regarded as seat of the Mughal kind. Inside the fort there is a museum containing several items of ancient era.

After Agra Fort you will stop somewhere for lunch. Opt for Mughlai cuisine as the food is extremely tasty and aromatic.

Agra presents a wonderful shopping experience to the tourist. Visit the local bazaars for buying handicrafts, and souvenirs. You will also get marble items in Agra. These bazaars are full of small shops selling local delicacies. Buy petha which is a well- known Indian dessert from Agra bazaars.

Once you are through with your lunch, you should leave for Fatehpur Sikri in a private taxi. Fatehur Sikri was made by Mughal kind Akbar to mark his victory over Gujarat. The city is in ruins now and you can still imagine its charm and grandeur in the ancient era. Some of the key places to see in Fatehpur Sikri are Tomb of Salim Chisti and Buland Darwaza.

You will now return back to Agra. It takes less than 1 hour. If you wish you can again visit Taj Mahal. Rest for some time and indulge in some light snacking.

In the evening the tour driver you will drop you at Agra Cantt Railway Station. Here you will board Shatabdi Express for Delhi. The train departs at 9:15 P.M from the station. Dinner will be provided to you in the train.
